Mijas Pueblo is a gem of Spain, small and with immense character yet close to the large number of modern leisure facilities that Fuengirola, Marbella and Malaga offer and shopping that is as good as anywhere in the world. The apartments are within a ten minute walk of the centre of the village, although it must be said our road is steep so older people and those with very young children may prefer to drive into the village. Our fantastic views are worth it though. There are several small supermarkets for daily needs and over forty restaurants so even if you don't have a car you will not have to cook if you don't want to. If you decide to hire a car there are many places of interest and beauty to visit with something for everyone within a short distance of the villa. Marbella, Ronda, Gibraltar, the Lakes, Granada (the Alhambra), Fuengirola to mention but a few. You will be spoilt for choice. Words cannot do it justice, so why not come and see this stunning region of Spain for yourself.Location: Mijas Pueblo is ideally placed for a lazy holiday when you sun bathe, admire the views and eat well but it is also perfect for those who like to visit interesting places.
