I love my flat, it is fairly cheap to run as it benefits from Economy 7 electricity and is very snug in the winter. For commuting the station is a five minute walk away with reliable, regular trains taking 33 minutes to Waterloo AND USUALLY A SEAT!! For driving, easy access to airports with both Gatwick and Heathrow about 30 minutes away out of rush hour, the A3 is about a 5 minute drive away giving easy access to London, the M25, Surrey, Hampshire Etc.. Tolworth Boadway is a 5 to 10 minute walk away for the shops. Surbiton is a 10 minute drive away or about 15 minutes on the bus, with Kingston about 15 minutes drive or about 20 minutes by bus.
There are many things to love about my flat. Firstly, it's just been fully refurbished - with a lot of love. Secondly, it's spacious and light. Thirdly, it's quiet - it's end of terrace, on a quiet street and the neighbour below is a lovely old lady. Fourthly, you're surrounded by many good things - great travel links and Brixton, Clapham, Balham, Tooting and Wimbledon on your doorstep, making it a cheap place to live with good access to great (but expensive) areas. The master bedroom is enormous and the second bedroom is a small double with access to the garden - making it great for a couple who want a study/nursery/spare room.
