Our house is on the north shore of Morecambe Bay with the beach directly across the road. From the elevated conservatory we can see as far as Blackpool, around to Morecambe and the north pennine hills. We never tire of watching the sea and the changing light. Winter sunrises are spectacular! The house has a large family room that's full of light where we can chat, cook and socialise. It's great for parties although the snug gives a peaceful quiet space when needed. All the bedrooms are doubles. The walled back garden is big enough to extend that party we spoke about and the hot tub sets it off perfectly at any time of the year.

Our lovely Barn conversion dates from, we think, around 1800 but was converted in 1998 and further improved by us more recently. It was apparently used for storage by Smugglers who traveled along the coast road and stopped at the adjacent pub! It is big and roomy, with a great south facing indoor swimming pool so perfect for parties, or just relaxing in the sun. Loads of garden space to the south, and a quieter, private walled courtyard garden that is a real sun trap.

Great Christmas and party house. A real family home, every one congregates in the kitchen, and on a sunny day the sun comes into the kitchen from the through sitting room. There were always a lot of children playing in the big garden that had a tree house and many hidding places, so when my son was young it was the place with room for all.Having log fires in all the rooms make it very homely and I love the cosy feel, but the garden is the best how it has evolved of the the years has been amazing to watch, it just has so many special corners.

A real beauty - a 1930's detached family home offering so much accommodation and space for everyone. Set in a generous plot of land with plenty of parking at the rear, it's perfect for all the family and having two large detached garages, the budding mechanic or hobby enthusiast is absolutely spoilt here. The accommodation flows wonderfully off a large entrance lobby which doubles up nicely as a play room or another dining area for those big dinner parties. The lounge, dining room and kitchen are very well presented and the whole house has a really special feel throughout. The five bedrooms upstairs are all a good size and the master bedroom has a lovely en suite. There is also a separate bathroom and a shower room as well. If you need even more space there is a smashing one bedroom self contained annexe with its own garden in fabulous order and tastefully decorated. This could be used to rent out and bring in a welcome monthly income or owners' accommodation if using the main house for Bed and Breakfast or a guest house. This is a real gem of a traditional 1930's home situated in the heart of Godshill, a truly charming village with super countryside walks on the doorstep and lovely village spirit. What the Owner says:We must say that the last 25 years bringing up our family here has been just wonderful, the location has been brilliant and so handy for all of us; schools nearby, local shops, and amenities. Just ten minutes down the road to Shanklin and ten minutes to Newport. We are leaving all our heartfelt memories here as we now have to downsize as now just the two of us are left, it's far too big. We wish the next family all the happiness here and we're sure whoever you are, you will not be disappointed. Family homes within this budget are few and far between so there is bound to be a bit of a rush. Big enough for most families with three good size bedrooms, the third is nearly a double. There is also plenty of room downstairs, a lounge ideal for getting together to watch your favourite television programmes and a dining room large enough for any family meal. The kitchen will not disappoint either with plenty of space to share a coffee with friends. In need of some updating, however it is double glazed and has a gas central heating system and every need in the way of shops and a railway station are nearby. Within walking distance of Emsworth town centre and with local amenities on your door step, this four bedroom semi-detached house offers plenty to make your new house a home. Deceptively spacious accommodation is the key here, allowing you to configure your furniture and other accessories any way you wish. An extension finishes the ground floor off perfectly, whether you want to use it as a dining room or just to place additional sofas or arm chairs, it offers the versatility you need from a new home. Double sliding doors to the rear open up to present a wonderful garden with a patio area so you’re able to sit outside and enjoy a cool, refreshing drink in those summer months. The garden is mostly lawn for ease of maintenance, or if you are the green fingered type, it offers a blank canvas for you to create a wonderful picture from. The ground floor is finished off with a stylishly fitted kitchen. As you walk up the stairs to the first floor you are reminded of the extensive floor space once again with four good sized bedrooms for you and your family to enjoy. Off road parking and a garage put a full stop on what is a superb house which needs to be viewed to fully appreciate. What the Owner says:After living in Emsworth for some time we will be sad to leave the vibrant town, but feel it's time to move on. Our home has served us well, being able to hold family gatherings and barbecues in the large rear garden. Living close to the town usually means lack of parking but we've been extremely lucky to have obtained such good off road parking and garage. The size and space of our home was a big factor when we were looking for a property in Emsworth and this did exceed what we expected. Ships ahoy and binoculars at the ready as you look over the bay enjoying a glass of Frances best! This seaside home in arguably one of the most enviable locations in Thanet certainly grabbed our attention. This detached three bedroom family home welcomes you in to a wonderful open hallway and then whisks you off to a balcony from the master bedroom which has views to die for. Since the current owner has lived here he has had the house professionally decorated, added a feature fireplace and extended the main bedroom across the garage to give a stunning dual aspect sea view and sun deck over looking the bay. Perfect for cliff top walks with the family dog or a swim on a summers day. The Royal Esplanade is not called so for nothing because all along this stretch are the kind of majestic views you would expect to pay great riches for. Add to this the fact that you have within walking distance a quaint seaside town of Westgate on Sea just minutes away with everything you could wish for including an award winning cinema. The only reason the current owner is even considering leaving this beautiful home is to develop an equally stunning property outside the area. Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances. What the Owner says:I bought my house for a number of reasons. I loved the age and style of the property, the private rear garden which is now rich in productive fruit trees and the large front garden which is big enough to park a boat! For me, the house has one of the finest seafront locations in the area with some cracking sea views across the bay from over half the windows in the house and easy access to the beach. I will be leaving behind some fond memories of my home, especially the wonderful sunsets across the water while sitting on the balcony with a large glass of wine. The owners thought when they bought it that they were getting good value for money, well in our opinion Royal Drive still offers excellent value for money today. Royal Drive is a detached house built approximately three years ago by Laing Homes but with the development finished by Wimpey Homes. Arranged over three floors the accommodation is not only spacious but also adaptable to suit modern day family living. Some of the main features are the fitted kitchen, gas central heating, double glazed windows, en-suite shower room to bedroom one plus a fifth bedroom currently being used as a study. The location of Royal Drive is also ideal for recreation situated near Alice Holt Forest where you can partake in outdoor picnics and bike rides whilst for indoor sports you have gym and swimming pool facilities at the Kinetika Sports centres in Bordon, Alton and Farnham. What the Owner says:We were first drawn to Royal Drive because it was a new build and we wanted a property that would not require a lot of maintenance and also offered what we thought to be such great value for money compared to other houses we had looked at. The area was also a big attraction being equally accessible to the local towns of Farnham, Petersfield and Alton, and we knew with the planned completion of the Hindhead Tunnel in 2011 would ease the general traffic around the area making the A325 a lot quieter. 'Not your everyday refurbished home' is a fair way to begin to describe this stunningly presented family home. Straight into the hallway you get a flavour of the style and standard we are talking about. This is in the form of granite top floor with oak bi-folding doors leading to the living area, which is more than large enough to host a dining table, as well as having a good size lounge area. Don’t worry if you cant find your slippers in the morning as the under floor heating will keep your feet nice and warm as you prepare your breakfast in the fully fitted kitchen. The noise of the washing machine is banished to the utility room and washing up is made much more bearable as you look out onto the secluded rear garden which is certainly big enough for the children to let off steam in. If you need to work from home or need space for the children to do their homework there is a separate study to work without distractions shutting yourself away from it all. The driveway at the front of the house provides parking for you and your visitors with the potential to create more should you wish to. It also happens to positioned in one of the nicest parts of Canterbury, and you can almost hear the sound of the crack of leather on willow from the nearby Kent County Cricket ground.
